Teresa Lane is the Founder of Waterfront Melbourne Apartments. She has an extremely hands on approach to managing the company and goes the extra mile to ensure a perfect stay. As the captain of the ship, she is responsible for the overall operational direction of the company, overseeing the company growth, finance, sales and acquisition activities.
Prior to establishing Waterfront Melbourne Apartments, Teresa operated a hospitality establishment in South Australia, where she was responsible for the daily operation of the business.
Having worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years, Teresa has a knack for providing exceptional service to her guests. She is well-known and loved by our regular clients and many who have stayed with us return due to the extra effort she makes to take care of them. She endeavours to provide the highest quality of service to all our guests.
Carol is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Waterfront Melbourne Apartments. She ensures that health and safety standards are met, supervises staff and deals with budgetary matters. She is also responsible for planning work schedules and employees’ welfare initiatives.
Carol also oversees the financial aspect of the business which includes budgeting, accounting and financial reporting. Generally, she ensures that quality customer service is delivered and that revenue, cost-saving and profit targets are met.
Camila is responsible for consistently providing high standard of service throughout the reservation process. She is charged with following up bookings and effectively communicating with guests, ensuring that guests’ booking requirements are arranged in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
Camila is also charged with developing and implementing marketing plans and sales activities to achieve the company’s objectives. Likewise, she plans and oversees marketing and promotion activities. She establishes and maintains relationships with travel partners, industry leaders and corporate clients.
Camila did her Masters degree in Tourism at Monash University and has had over six years of experience in the tourism industry before moving to Australia. Prior to joining Waterfront Melbourne, Camila worked for 4 years as a travel consultant for Asiatravel.com and PYOTravel.com in Singapore. She is also an experienced Reservations Agent having worked for InterContinental Hotels in the Philippines.
